After discovering Action Sequence Photography, I thought it was not necessarily "my" kind of thing but was an interesting challenge. I'm not much of a "sports person" or "action" person, even... but I knew there had to be a way that I could interpret this technique in my own way.
I haven't done this yet, technically, in my own way (I should have done it in the corn field with that piece of pink fabric!!!)... but I did test out the technique with some photos of Evan and our neighbor Andrew diving into the pool!
It was so fun to put these photos together. As they started to piece together, it was so rewarding! It looks crazy in some of them where they're overlapping... but it looks cool, ya know?
This last photo is only the last two out of five shots from one of the photos above. I edit them last to first in sequence. This one is the splash and the shot before landing. It looks hilarious, as if he's running on top of the water and making a huge splash in the process. Baaahaha.
Any other suggestions for good Action Sequence photo moments? Throw out some suggestions in the comments and I'll pick one and try it!!
