- My hair was straight until I was around 14 years old. Then, it decided to curl. I had no idea how on earth to deal with that nonsense! I straightened it every day with a curling iron (it's all I had!) for at least 2 years before accepting the curls for what they were.
- I'm really scared of storms. I don't know when that happened, because I used to think they were cool. I think it's only since moving to Iowa. The storms seem more serious here.
- I love healthy food. Take me to a restaurant with burgers and fries, and I'll have a hard time figuring out if I even feel like eating anything. But I won't resist Ice Cream, ever.
- I'm almost 27, and that sounds weird. I think I need to keep saying it in order to get used to it.
- Most of my best friends are people that I've known since childhood. I'm amazed by that, but I love it!
- I'm horrible at and dislike almost every sport or physical activity, especially if it includes a ball or rules or strength or speed. I fail really well at: basketball, softball, volleyball, tennis, running, swimming, bowling, pool, jumping, gymnastics, golf, soccer, every single activity at track & field day in school, everything we ever had to do in gym class. But, I'm okay at rollerblading.
- The very beginning of Fall is my very favorite season, and I always feel happiest then. My mood is totally affected by the weather.
- I really want to be the type of person that grows food in a garden. But it's so daunting and unknown to me that I'm afraid to start and mess it all up!
- My husband has really long and dark eyelashes and he makes me really jealous.
- I'm a "pack rat" (mom's words, not mine!) but I'm in recovery. I am trying to work on not keeping "stuff" unless it's useful or seriously awesome. I have a really cool idea for a way to help me get rid of things and I can't wait to share it with you! All my fellow sentimental stuff hoarders are gonna benefit from this :)
